U.S. inventories rise 0.9% in July

This leads to lay offs and lower pay raises. Cisco, HP, Intel, etc, etc, have been warning of this.

Which would ultimately lead to falling orders, production and employment.

The soft patch is thin ice.

That's just what we need... more unemployment. :notrust:
 
Are you sure those inventories are ICT and not something else?
They learned from the Dot-com boom that big inventories in expectation of inflated sales are a bad idea.
