tsptalk.mobi Screw Up

I have had many complaints about the tsptalk.mobi version of the site not working. I am aware of it and while I don't know what the final resolution will be, there will be one. Here's what happened...

I saw that my domain registry had a new feature for mobile websites. I decided to give it a try. I tried to point tsptalk.mobi to this new feature and it actually worked initially. I played with it and the tsp.net domain to see which I wanted to use.

When I tried to reset the tsptalk.mobi back to its old setup, the one everyone seems to like, it would not let me. The registry support staff were telling me the old .mobi feature we were using was no longer available and only sites currently using it would be able to use. That's why etftalk.mobi is still working. So, just changing what they call the DNS settings for tsptalk.mobi while testing the new feature took it out of that list of sites currently using it.

Anyway, after a few emails back and forth I am told they are working on "it", but I don't know exactly what "it" is - whether that is the old way, or the new one that I may have to use.

Cleared the cache from my phone. Tried accessing tsptalk.com from my phone. Was still redirected to tsptalk.mobi with the yellow sticky.

Info: I too am an iPhone user. When I try and goto home page, I get the .mobi yellow postit saying "coming soon". No way to get to home page. I can however get to member returns on the tracker that i have bookmarked. One possibility, if it doesn't screw anything up worse, is to create a new mirrored home page, say tsp talk.com/index2 (or something). Just a thought as it may be a work around for awhile.

I have the Android App. Worked fine for me all day yesterday. Just checked this morning. Worked.

I really like looking at the full site from my iPad. Can you give iPad users the option of viewing full site? I always get directed to mobi.

Nope, that doesn't work either. the .php link took me back to the yellow sticky, and www.tsptalk.com/index2 was a 404 not found. Trying from android.

You have to type the whole URL with the "php" -- www.tsptalk.com/index2.php

It looks like the new www.tsptalk.mobi is working. It's not like the old one (see www.etftalk.mobi), but more icon / mobile friendly.

Let me know what you think. Suggestions are welcome but I don't have the ability to do much but add /change links. Thanks.
