TRUE AMERICAN

Under the separation of "church" and "state"

Another misunderstanding of our Constitution...
The Constitution of the United States said:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

True.

Thanks for the reminder.

Under the separation of "church" and "state" and that "all men are created equal" agnostics are just as good as any bible thumper....koran thumper...etc...
Ah, Agnostics are just Atheists that can't make up their mind!

It appears to me someone is trying to create GOOD GUYS and BAD GUYS here, that is not the American way. Stop the Propaganda!

You are a true American if you:

Don't pick and choose which parts of the Constitution you support no matter how inconvenient.

You are a true American if you:

Believe in the right to free speech and to peacefully assemble even if you disagree with the message.

You are a true American if you:

Don't believe some Americans have more rights than other Americans just because they have more money, no matter how they got it.

:) :D :)

Oh yeah, and regarding Quote #8. I agree whole heartedly. And by that token Woody, Arlo and other "liberals" or non-republicans, for that matter, are still fully capable of being "True Americans".

Regarding quotes #2 and 3. So being a "true" American requires you to be a practicing Christian?

A certain German leader once espoused similar sentiments about the beliefs of citizens in his country...and decided to act on those sentiments.

Interestingly enough, in that situation AND many others, a whole lot of "true Americans" gave their life to defend the world against people like him.

I can agree with the other quotes, including anything related to God in the generic sense, but that Christian centered stuff has no place in the America my family has been living in and fighting for in excess of 5 generations.

OK, tell me the truth most of these are "QUOTES" are from Newton Gingrich?:D
Or all from my mind!
