Travel is good for the soul. It let's you unwind. Attached is a photo from La Jolla Shores 9-15-11 that reminded me of one of our own on this blog, Kona Kathy, so I am sending it. The date and time stamp is Central Time, so 2 hrs ahead, and the month is missing. This is the corner of Avenida de la Playa, facing, and El Paseo Grande.

It took. Granted that racing around the freeways of Los Angeles is not exactly unwinding, but apart from that.

Mahalo PB! When I lived in Dana Point I used to head south some weekends to have lunch in La Jolla and go to Coronado Beach. I love those funky beach towns of Cali.
I hear you about those LA freeways. I am not used to driving those speeds or in that traffic anymore, it takes me a good hour before it's pedal to the metal and some weaving and bopping on THE 405! Of course, when traffic allows.
