my high school english teacher mrs. wenzel would have something to say about the sirens video, a lot to say, and it wouldn't be very pleasant. she would also have something to say about grammar, and that wouldn't be pleasant either.
in the case of the post, the sirens are the object of discussion.
now i don't doubt the speculation about what them fellers was feeling down by the river, but it was definately not the sirens that fit the description of 'things that go up'. in that scenario the sirens video might better placed in a thread titled 'things that make things go up'.
or, alternatively, in a thread titled 'things that go down'.
i don't know what the solution is, other than that age old hippie advice, 'why can't we all just get along'?
