The Financial Select Sector SPDR[SUP]®[/SUP] Fund (XLF) has led the market with YTD fund performance quarter ending 12/31/12, of 28.51%. Second we have the Wilshire 4500 Completion ETF (WXSP), which may mimic the S fund, with YTD fund performance quarter ending 12/31/12, of 17.73%. Third the S&P 500 Index, that may represent the C fund, enjoyed YTD fund performance quarter ending12/31/12, of 15.82%. Meanwhile, the Power Shares QQQ, representing the Nasdaq-100, had YTD fourth quarter ending fund performance of 18.35%, but now is lagging the market. Notice that during August and September that the QQQ’s were leading. It appears that the front runner is out of gas. So, is this a harbinger of a reversal?
