I keep hearing on the news that the Fed is trying to keep interest rates low to avoid deflation, and keep inflation rates above 1%. If that's the case I definitely say they succeeded, unless I'm failing to understand what exactly they mean by lack of inflation?
Rent / Home prices are higher
Food prices are higher
Health care prices are higher
College tuition is higher
Gas is cheaper, but seems to be rising quickly again
So where's this lack of inflation? Seems to be alive and well, maybe too well
