To all members:

Thanks to everyone who participates here.It is the diversity of our personalities and ideas that makes ita great forum, but it also causes the occassional conflict.

When I started this forum I didn't anticipate that I wouldhave to spend a lot of timechecking to seeif everyone was behaving. I just don't always have time to read every post so I can only expect and hope that we would all treateach other with respect all the time but after almost two years I realize that is unrealistic. That's why I needed the help of moderators.

People get ticked when a moderator or I delete a post, and whenwe don't delete a post they want deleted. Some get upset whensomeone is banned and others get upset when I don't ban someone. There is no way we can please everyone.

We try to let things go if they are border-line offensive/abusive but of course people push the envelope and we have to draw the line somewhere. I guess we will have to start issuing more bans to let members know we are serious.A ban is not necessarily a life sentence (although it could be). It's just a time-out to ask you to please cool off.

If you find youself banned because myself or a moderator can not seem to get things under control, take a breather. If you want to come back at some point, contact one of us and we will assess the situation.

This market is currently in a prime trading position and I really want to concentrate on making and/or not losing money rather than with dealing personality conflicts.

Off my soapbox...

Thanks,
Tom

Sounds good!
That would separate the men from the boys.
As of today, I'm beating it by 3.71%

I know! Ban all who didn't beat the C Fund. :l
Ouch. If that's the case, I might not be around very long. :) It's been a long road taking thelead back over the C fund.

Now that I am beating the C fund by about 2%, I actually thought about going 100% C for the rest of the year just to guarantee I'll beat it. If I don't beat the C I'll have a lot of explaining to do. Many people (mainly new comers deciding what to make of this site) judge the website exclusively by my return and not by all the wonderful infoI, and other members, provide.:u
