TALLY June '05

THANKS PYRIEL for the help getting this together. Pyriel has been putting all the moves into a spreadsheet, and I've been doing the monthly totals. I would not have the time to do this tally if it were not for him.

I started keeping track of a few people I know are faithfully posting there moves. I like to see how people are doing. You should not use just this post to judge how people are doing totally because we don't have a long track record yet. As an example, someone could do very well in October but have had a very bad July/August.

I got these numbers using the post from each account talk list. If you are a regular poster but I missed you it was because I either felt you were not posting regularly, posting moves too late after deadline, thought you had quit or you were not posting in the right place. You had to be posting prior to May 31 to make this months list.

Since there are so many people posting, I'm not going to add you up if your post are too confusing or it looks like you missed some post (ie. you refer to a move that you made 3 days ago but did not post in your account). I'll catch you next month when you get it straight.

Extras:

Dakota is back.... I thought he'd quit posting and dropped him. He's back on the list. (Pyriel, you missed a May 10 transfer by Dakota...I'm sure he wishes he had left it alone.)

If I missed you and you weren't included, respond in this thread and I or Pyriel willadd you to the list or let you know where you confused me (us). There are so many new faces that it would be easy for someone to fall through the cracks.

Pyriel/Namor I got the PM but did not see anything wrong. I think I'm missing part of the discussion.

I'll be out the next 2 weeks so it might take me a awhile to respond, don't think I'm ignoring you.:^

Thanks for your work Fundsurfer. I have a question but skip it if it would mean more work for you. Pyriel's last tracker has Dakota at 5.72% YTD. Do you know why the discrepancy?

Yes, Pyriel missed a trade on May 10 when Dakota went to 10%G, 30%C, 30%S, & 30%I from 100%S. S did very well and 100% S would have had a much better return.

Yours and my numbers are usually a little off, but usually not that much. Unfortunitely I don't have my file with me to recheck. Have to admit I was doing this fast so I could get out of town. I have a feeling I know where the error is and it is probably on my side.

I don't know about anybody else's numbers, but you transposed my May and April columns.I had a loss in April and May was a gain.

Not to be critical, but if you are going to post numbers like it's a competition, they should beas accurate as possible. Little mistakes like that and people will begin to distrust theTALLY altogether.

Thanks for your correspondence, Pyriel.

Good luck in your investments.

Hey Greg, MM's numbers are under "Milk2".
Oh.
Why was it done that way? It gives the appearance "they" are covering forMLK_Man when he is on the bottom of the list.
Greg:

Where are your numbers? I can't see them. Why are MM's numbers (or anybody else's for that matter) so important to you that make you see the appearance of a cover up?.

This is a great website (thanks Tom). Pyriel and FundSurfer contribute more to this board than most of us and they should be commended for it. "They" spend a lot of their valuable time keeping track of everybody's moves, providing technical support when requested, etc,. "They" do it with no strings attached. Why the mud?

Those two act like they've been married for fifty years - there is still romance there but they just don't like each other any more. Do I have that correct? Heck, I've got my own problems - I have to go stand in the corner and be lashed with gentle chastisement because my oceanic account is a practicing nudist. But nudity gives you such freedom, especially of expression.

I updated the tally namor. When FundSurfer gets back, be sure to fire him off a PM so he changes the spreadsheet.

Thanks

As you can see greggy, I'm not very good. The challenge is still there if you would like to accept it. Act like an adult for a change . Otherwise, shut your pie hole.................you're starting to get old. Oh, and boring too...............

Remember, this is just my opinion and should not be used by anyone to sway one's own judgement. Most people have at least a little common sense and know the difference between a rock and a cow pie after all.......................:^

OK Dudley,
I accept your challenge on the following conditions:

  • We start this Tuesday and run thru Jan 15th 2006.
  • Pyriel be the final judge.
