The Associated Press came up with an interesting map, showing the economic stress by county across the U.S.
The figure uses the Unemployment rate, plus the home foreclosure rate, plus the rate of personal bankruptcy, to calculate a "Stress Index".
You can then click and see- is it getting better, or getting worse, compared to a month ago, a year ago, etc. And then click on it and see individual rates for unemployment, for foreclosures, etc.
