Finally creating an account thread of my own after 6 years. Oops! How time flies.

welcome aboard? that's sounds a little funny because you've been here longer than me, but that don't mean much. one time i was in a bad relationship for six years, but it seemed like forever.

Wowee, I only lurked about a year or so before I sucked up the nerve to learn how to do this forum posting thingy. jump on in, the water's fine. especially out in HI and sunny SanD-or so I hear.

The first 4 years I was such a newbe and working 60+ hours a week as a PTF (part-time flexible) employee for the Post Office. Very little time to do much more than work and sleep. The last few years, dealing with unwanted, but necessary, disability retirement, medical stuff, lifestyle changes, etc. Dealing with an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis sure does turn a persons world upside down. Going from inline skating 15+ miles/day to walking with a walker at a top speed of less than 1 mph and a host of other related mobility issues has been very challenging. But when life throws you lemons, all you can do is make great lemonade! I thank God I have a great family and great friends. And I thank God I am still moving and am able to live independently (at least for now). I am still am able to work on my crafts and still able to take care of my cats!

I learn something new every day. Today's lesson involves finding my way around the site, signing up for the auto-tracker, and I finally learned about reputation!
