I want to post a tribute to a former classmate.
I recently have had contact with several members of my high school class in reference to a 40th reunion.
We were chatting and posting about people who have died over the years. A person I had forgotten all about came up. Forgotten because he didn't graduate with the rest of us, he left school and joined the US Marine Corp. Why did he leave school? I really don't know. I barely remember him.
Until tonight I had believed that no members of my class had died in the Southeast Asia "conflict". No relatives or close friends either. When I visited the wall and it's travelling companion I had no name to look for. Well, now I do.
