As of June 30, SoftBank owned $1 billion worth of Amazon stock, $475 million worth of Alphabet, and nearly $250 million of Adobe.

Those positions disclosed in the 13F are peanuts. $378k in AMZN, $335k in GOOGL. Positions 21-30 only comprised 2-3% of the portfolio at the time of the report.

I just think everyone is doing it. Everyone is speculating in AAPL, MSFT, TSLA, NFLX. In a world where you get judged by your quarterly performance, unless you have those FAANGM stocks in your top holdings, you will underperform. The higher the cost basis, the more leverage that will need to be employed.
