September Contest in Progress

Through the first seven trading days of September, six TSP Talk AutoTracker participants are outperforming all of the TSP funds.

The fund to beat has been the F-fund which is up 1.72% for the month through yesterday, the next best return for the month is the G-fund 0.12% gain. All of the TSP stock funds in negative territory for September.

These six all have one thing in common. They have all used at least one IFT this month.

The Plus System is a TSP Talk Premium Service, so we can't disclose their moves. Pjjc55, siidman, and amoeba are TSP Talk Plus members, so we won't disclose their IFTs either.

This month's top two leaders, silver2828 and Nitsua, were both out of stocks to start the month.

Silver2828 started the month in the G-fund then moved to the C-fund on Friday 9/6. We mentioned this move in the previous TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up. The move has worked out so far with the C-fund up 2.71% in the three days since.

Nitsua started the month in the F-fund, but distinguished themselves by moving to the 2050 Lifecycle fund. This fund has 81.75% stock exposure spread amongst the C ,S , and I-funds.

There is a new September leader.

Wvango holds the best return for September at 4.27% through yesterday. Their current allocation will be kept private because they are a Premium Member. They are the only member who holds a better return than the TSP Talk Plus trading system.

Previous leader silver2828 has slipped to sixth after moving to the G-fund on Friday and missing yesterday and potentially today's gains.

The question now is who is better positioned to storm the market reaction to tomorrow's rate cut by the Federal Reserve?

The September returns are tight so this list could get mixed up on the last day of trading. The S-fund heavy top has some members holding some C-fund as well. Those in cash have a chance with a bearish outcome.
