SEPP 72t

Any experts on SEPP/72t out there?
I want to leave at age 50 and I will need access to some of this money. I would like to move TSP to Scottrade IRA.
I have read there are very specific rules about balance changes (other than the SEPP withdrawal).
If I'm incurring trading fees, am I violating the rules?

I know I can leave it in TSP but I don't want to continue to suffer these silly monthly IFT restrictions.

Anyone currently traveling this road?

Thanks,
wax

There are several threads about this. I am currently using a 72t. So. Ask away!

I retired a few months ago at 49 and am looking into 72T as I rolled my TSP into an IRA at Schwab. Trading fees shouldn't be a concern within your IRA. Ask your questions
but for good insight I recommend you explore 72t on the Net | SEPP, 72t, and /72q Distributions

Monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually is your choice (with your Brokerage) as long as you only take out the correct dollar amount annually based on your 72t calculation.
