I have a traditional IRA at USAA that I really have done nothing with since I rolled over an old 401k into it 10 years ago. So, I want to roll it into my TSP since I am actively contributing there.
How do you rollover the IRA to the TSP account? Is it possible, it seems that it is from what I read?

I wouldn't. I'd convert it to a Roth and put it someplace where you can actively manage it.

That sounds well and good, but I want to add it to my TSP that has a plan at least right now.

Okay, it should have read "...add it to my TSP; at least it has a plan right now."
The IRA account has just been floundering since it was created. The TSP account has a plan/direction for the future. I have not had the time/knowledge to work the IRA personally so I feel that I am better served by the transfer.
I am not looking for a debate about whether it is something that others would do; I am looking for info on how to make the transfer/rollover.

OK if you have your mind made up to park your money in the TSP, the information on how to do it is on TSP.GOV in the FAQ. Also, your HR office has the necessary paperwork and should have the know-how, too.:D
