Returns Calculator

At the risk of sounding like a total computer idiot, how do I add additional lines to the Returns Calculator? I'm pretty good with Excel but I cannot seem to get the calculations to work out right.

Great site and appreciate your work!

Thanks.

Hi POLCAT -

Sorry I just saw this post. Hope you figured it out because I haven't fund a real easy way. I just do a:

- copy
-"insert copied cells" (hit shift down option)

Then if you look at the prior calculation you will see the new one added the new cell but it deleted the first one. You have to manually go into the calculation and add that first cell again. In this case I believe it would be "(1+(S6))*".

You will have to do that for each row you add. The only other cell that would need changing would be the total figure at the bottom of column "T". That just needs to = the last number before it. So if your total cell is T37, then the calculation cell would be "=T35".

Hope that helps. It's difficult to explain. So much easier to show someone.

Tom
