POV RATE CHANGES - JAN 1

(Thanks Obama for that cheaper gas, which lead to the fall in rates by a half-a-cent!)

political much? another way to look at it might be:

thanks to private corporations and capitalism and scientific advancements in horizontal drilling and fracking, texas and north dakota drove that horse. massive unforeseen increase in domestic production. if there were pipelines to move it safer and more efficiently than rail the new mileage rate might be closer to $0.45/mile with domestically produced crude and refined fuels. but of course obama summoned buffet as a 'private economic advisor' (not on gov payroll), then promptly halted and interfered with all mineral leases under gov control and limited transportation (keystone xl stalled for years) to bnsf rail. sweet deal if you hold berkshire hathaway stock.

also banning all drilling in the artic was a good last minute move which will give advantage to every other country with interests in that area besides the u.s. or if one is really concerned about all this energy stuff they could just abandon internal combustion altogether and ride their bicycle everywhere. but short of that, all those 'bad oil' arguments ring hollow.

silly rabbits. the game is rigged and full of holes.
