PLEASE REPORT POSTING ERRORS HERE

Lately, we have been experiencing errors in the forum around 12PM EST: the cut-off time to post our moves for the next day. Here are examples:

- "Too many connections Unable to connect to DB server 216.130.191.8 at port 3306"

- Posts are not posting in a timely manner. In some instances, not showing up until 1/2 hour later if not longer.

It seems rather odd to me that this is occuring around this particular time period. It may very well be occuring at other times too.

Please post your dates and times(EST) that you experience similar problems so we can begin tracking them.

I just experienced this under the heading of "Roth vs Tsp" or something like that. I got the first error that you listed and it was around noon, today. Interesting. Happy thanksgiving.

The SQL server provided by the hosting service is overloaded; that has been the problem for quite some time, hence the failed/multiple posts.

The problem I have is trying to post while using other browsers such as Netscape or MSN 8. The funny part about it isI can log in any suggestions.



But on the other hand, Internet Explorer works just find. As mention earlier in a post

“go figure”. LOL

That is due to the design of the forum software. Normally, I use Opera, but for here, I have to use IE.
