Outdoor Seating "Man Chairs" on The Cave patio

The DW and I have needed to replace our patio seating at "The Cave". While watching a recent episode of Cabin Fever we got an inspiration. So here's our version. The chair sides or arm rests are dressed 6x6 yp we purchased from our local sawmill. They are 30 inches long and stacked 4 high glued and screwed. The seats cushion supports are 24" x 24" 2x4 mitered at the corners and glued and screwed. The slats are 1x4. All are screwed and and only the end slats are glued down the sides parrellel to the 2x4. We purched the size cushion we liked from our local retail store and are building the chairs to fit the cushion. Each chair is supported by heavy duty 3" coasters. They are heavy but the DW can move them effortlessly with one hand. Well, I can too for that matter since that's all I have! We've got 2 more to build. We will stain and apply 2 or 3 coats of marine poly. With routine care we anticipate these will last a lifetime. I'll post additional pictures upon completion.
