One Hundred Thousand march ?- Occupy Oakland
and yet hardly even a mention in the main stream media.
Pretty amazing- this is real, and is from Oakland California yesterday:
So many people marching, they took over a freeway.
The Oakland Police Chief said it was 7,000 people.
I don't know, but the Chief is now taking some heat- with more than one source saying that estimate is way low- and others claim the number is far, far larger.
Some estimates are 100,000 people shut down the port.
Me? I have no idea how to estimate crowd size. I don't think it's 100,000, but I think it's probably more than 7K.
It sure seems to me to be pretty big.
What do you think? How many folks in that crowd?
Anybody good at estimating crowd sizes?
