November Contest in Progress

We are halfway through November and five members have November gains of over 8%. At the top there is a tie for best November return between Boneshaker and MacDaddy. Both held a November return of 8.86% as of Friday's TSP prices. The two hold different allocations though. Boneshaker is sitting in 100% G-fund while MacDaddy is fully invested in the S-fund. If this morning's gains hold through to close, MacDaddy will be distinguished as the November leader.

Boneshaker has also made their way into the top three of the 2024 AutoTracker standings.

The top two November leaders have gains of over 12% for the month. MacDaddy will likely see that climb to over 13% if the small caps index DWCPF (S-fund) holds its morning gains to the close.

ICEholes is satisfied with their quick 12% gain. They moved to 100% G-fund yesterday for their final IFT of the month. ICEholes was holding 100% S-fund.

The other six members beating the S-fund this year are all currently fully invested in stock funds with S-fund heavy allocations. That includes CrabClaw who has climbed to fourth best 2024 return among all members.

Five members are outperforming the S-fund for November. Four of the Five are fully invested in it as well.

The current November leader is MacDaddy who holds a 16.15% coming into today. That would be a great yearly return for most years. The small cap index DWPCF is down modestly this morning, but not enough to do too much damage to this impressive monthly return.

Weakness in the S-fund in the final days of November could lift some members who moved to the G-fund up the November standings. Sign_Stealer and Hocuspocusblade both left the S-fund for the G-fund yesterday. These two are both in the top 20 of the 2024 AutoTracker standings. If the S-fund is down for today, they both will occupy at least the fourth and fifth position of the November standings.
