I am new member here. I never invest in ETF in my life.
Can I add ETF to my existing mutual fund RRSP?

Do I need to keep ETF separately in its own account?
What is a reliable dividend reference fund?
I read about vanguard funds

hello do. This site is mainly about how to manage our thrift savings plan retirement accounts as federal employees. Are you a federal civilian employee? military employee? what you are asking about is how to invest in outside accounts, not the federal employee thrift savings plan. We try not to give advice here, though we do sometimes talk about what we are doing in outside accounts, if we have them. Not all of us have outside accounts. Will you want to talk about your thrift savings plan here at some point?

Welcome to TSPtalk doalexander9. You'll get a great deal of information from this site. Many of the members on here invest in ETFs. My recommendation would be to join one of the Premium Services so you can get specific advice on ETFs as far as the best funds, and which ETF to be in at certain times. I don't have an outside ETF account at this point, but I follow the Intrepid Timer ETF thread for ideas for the future. There may be other Premium Services on here that also trade in both TSP, and in ETFs outside of TSP.
Go to the Premium Services page (TSP Talk Members' Home Page) and look under More Info. Pick a system that you feel fits your needs and give it a try. The great thing is, they all offer text and e-mail alerts if you so choose to sign up.
Welcome aboard. Enjoy.
