Hello from the Northern Plains.

My name is Rod, been with the Fed DOT since 01 and dang happy with my job. I am 46, happily married with two teenage daughters (yah, Uff Da).

I dont know too much about stocks & trading, but I know my 401/TSP is a good thing to be part of, so I am here to learn and to make my TSP prosper. I have been in the TSP for 7+ yrs and have done pretty decent, I guess. However, I want to do better.

I would like to get into additional stocks and trading with with the intent of padding my retirement and have fun while doing so. I see there is alot of info to read here, digest & process it. So I am kind of overwhelmed and feel pretty green.

To sum it up I am here to learn.

Nodak, Welcome! This is a great place to learn. Sometimes you have to sort through the bs. Kidding!! This really is a great place to learn about investing, in and out of your TSP.
