Can some please tell me which specific funds should I track for following TSP fund movements?
For the "C" fund do I track the S&P or "WFSPX?
"S" fund "DWCP"?
"I" fund "EFA"?
"F" fund "VBMFX" ??

Thanks

Sorry but I'm new at this and did not understand the page you referenced. Was I suppose to see a specific fund there?

retgi,

Just look at the very top of this board. You will see a graph which tracks each of the funds you were asking...

Ok, I don't know much about the stock market which is obvious but I'm not really as ignorant as my question appears be. I was under the impression TSP funds are their own funds and have their own stock symbols. For instance, I read somewhere that the "C" fund is invested in the Barclays Equity Index Fund and the "F" fund in the Barclays U.S. Debt Index Fund, etc. So why is it that I can't find the stock symbols for these funds? I'm sure there's an easy and obvious answer, it's just that I don't know it. thanks...

Welcome retgi! The funds track other indices and don't have symbols of their own. Barclays Equity Index is the S&P 500, etc. The symbols mentioned above are the closest we've found to follow the funds during the day.
