More than 1 million people will see a loss or reduction in jobless benefits due to state withdrawal from federal unemployment programs.

I see this as a good thing, generally. We need to be looking for innovative policies to reward those that are actually holding jobs.

Child care is the big wild card.

I'm afraid many will be left behind that are fully capable, but because of unaffordable/unavailable child care, job hunts are on hold. It's going to be a challenge until September when schools are (hopefully) 100%.

Either way, there's no doubt about the road we are currently on right now. It's much easier to give than to take away.
