No, but you may want to consider adjusting your diet.

Exactly. Including me. And everyone here if they are honest.
We got new blood last time. Unfortunately it appears a lot of them took a Government job because they want to legislate the Federal Government out of existance.
You might want to check your facts on what precipitated the morgage fiasco (aka 'caused'). No doubt, the funny crap they were doing with mortgage backed securities should have been noticed by the SEC, but their crazy securities are not what precipitated that crash... Unfortunately, the people who did, will never pay and if it was the banks, they wouldn't either.Wall Street and the banks got us into this with the mortgage fiasco. They should have to help fix it. They have way too much clout with the money they have to throw at congress to buy their votes for that to happen. They want us to pay for their mistakes.
American people want solutions as long as it doesn't affect them.

I agree. But are these idiots in Washington really going to do the right thing?
Good solutions will effect everyone...
Too many people do not pay taxes (no vested interest), or get money from the goverment (too much vested interest).
We need to take the politics out of this and come up with some good, sound financial solutions, or we will soon be speaking Mandarin...

...54% of Americans believe that it is either somewhat or very likely that failing to raise the debt ceiling will cause the stoppage ... of benefits ... because of the failure ... to pass a debt ceiling increase.
The American people want solutions.
It's not just me. It's the majority of Americans who want the debt ceiling raised, and who see one side as the side responsible.
Yup, cause they hate the country so much.
Get over yourself James. No one can even take you seriously when you say crap like that...
Republicans are going to sink the U.S. economy intentionally.
