50% of my work is research. I told my boss it would take me 10X as long because I basically can't use the web anymore:laugh:

My reaction to same email? Yeah I know that, you foos, stop wasting cyber-space. Gave that oath when I first signed on. It's the ones who ignore their oath and aren't going to care your Cyber Important News Bulletin that are your problem, sheesh.

Yeah I know, they (our uncle) sent an e-mail to all government employees saying we could NOT under any circumstances (If we did not have the clearance)look at "any" of the material, "from any source". I work at the DHS and we are like, what!? So now if we look at usatoday,CNN,NYTimes etc etc, were gonna get fired?!?!?!? Give me a BREAK! Talk about shutting the barn door AFTER the horse has escaped! (I dare not disobey my master however!) hehe...

On a footnote: I agree with the Australian Foreign Minister.

One guy was able to download all that stuff? Something seriously wrong here. If he worked at Coca Cola, Pepsi would have the formula, the market plan, a recording of the commercial to be aired next year and the customer list with addresses, phone numbers, and purchase orders. Corporations do a better job protecting their secrets.
