As I stated in the intro thread, I had pretty good luck (and it was pure luck), and managed to get a rate of return of about 13% for the first seven months of the year. However, in the past month or two, due to family health problems, I've slipped and haven't really kept up with it. Hopefully, that will change in the next few days. I've made more trades this past year than the first eight years combined that I've been in TSP. Again, I'm looking forward to participating and learning.

nice ride, i had a 55 chevy with a wrap around back glass sure miss it had to sell in divorse:mad: along with 1100 suzuki, but i did keep my 68 camaro:nuts: which was totaled at the time,so took two and made a drag car. G L

thanks

bought it on ebay for 4000 and had it shipped from eastern washington to el paso for 1200. i picked it up and drove it 250 miles over mountains to get it home....bad starter and all. has the original 235 and sure won't win any races but i'm very pleased with it. after vacation if there's any money left, i'll paint it. it'll never be a show truck becuz we live on a very rough ranch road...about 5 miles one way.

Been in the UK for three weeks and had very little internet access. So, I am glad I stayed in the G Fund for those three weeks. A few times I was able to see what the S & P and FTSE were doing...but that was it. I'm ready to see if I can crawl out of the hole....

Where does the time go? Hard to believe it's been two years since I was in this thread. We moved from the west Texas desert to down east Maine in March. Since March I have been 25 c, 25 s, and 50 i and haven't moved. I have been very pleased watching the balance. I am staying put for the time being. I have a lot more responsibility in the new job...not to mention selling the house in Texas and buying a new one here. Hope everyone has a great 2010!
