It's halfway through the first Friday and we've already lost a #3 (Duke), 2 #5s (Oklahoma, Cincinnati), and 2 #6s (Ohio St, UMass). Warren Buffet has no doubt held on to his billion $.

Good stuff

Lots of carnage. A few posts up I was disparaging Mercer for getting a 14 seed, and they knock off Duke.

I was disappointed to see my local team, Weber State, get a 16 seed. I thought they'd see 13 or 14, or at least 15.

They didn't make it to the tourny during the 4 years with the #6 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, NBA Rookie of the Year, and now NBA all-star, Damian Lillard, but this year they went wire to wire in a tougher than normal Big Sky Conference without him.

They've been in the Dance many times and won a couple of first round games in their history. Yet a team like Mercer gets a 14 seed and they haven't been in the tourny for 30 years.

#16 Weber State put in a respectable perfomance losing to Arizona by "just" 9 - The spread was +20.

Round 1 = 1-point per win
Round 2 = 2-points per win
Round 3 = 3-points per win
Round 4 = 4-points per win
Round 5 = 5-points per win
Round 6 = 10-points

Upset Pick Bonus: Upset pick bonus gives you 1 extra point for picking lower-seeded teams correctly. You will be awarded the extra bonus point for each upset (lower seed beating a higher seed) you correctly predict.
