Main Street Verses Wall Street

When I'm not comfortable with something I want to know why? I'm not comfortable with the market right now.

When you read the news, there's a lot to be comfortable about. Even though we had a very tough winter, construction is up, new jobs are up, job openings are up, car sales were up, salaries are trending up...all sounds great.

The troubles with the Chinese economy, Greece,, the bond bubble, and the Fed are troubling but don't we always have some serious problems on the table. Isis and Ukraine are not front page items right now (sort of just lurking around on page 2).

So Main Street seems ok but Wall Street seems to have the flu. Possible reasons: (1) the bull is now seven years old? (2) Or is it just seasonality mixed with some troubling issues? (3) Please feel free to ADD your thoughts :cheesy::nuts::smile:

Just checked the technical indicators for the DOW at close and they don't seem to have a lot of strength....sort of like a marathon runner at mile 26.

What do you think? Is this market going to pull a rabbit out of the hat? I still love Bullwinkle.

(2) Seasonality mixed with some troubling issues

I think it's a fairly predictable summer slump. Full disclosure, there is some hope involved in my assessment.
Either Putin or Iran could have a market-altering tantrum any day too.
