Figured I should start a tracking thread.

Moving from 100% G to 100% S COB today. Market has been pretty ugly recently, I think an upswing is coming. Hope I'm not too early.
 
Nice day today, I think it will be good tomorrow as well. All my stocks are green, and it's making me nervous. I'll be making a swap to G either tomorrow or Monday and lock in my gains. .45 a share gain aint too bad, especially with how terrible this Monday was.
 
Still in the S fund, holding out for one more good day. Feeling good about the market.

I set a goal when I first got deployed this year, to make +18% on my TSP before I left in May. Dont think I'm going to make it. May be close... but I missed the Japan S fund dip, and that cost me 2-3%...
 
I got complacent earlier this year due to a short deployment. Moved to the G fund early July and been there ever since. I should be sitting some where around 15-18% for the year right now. 12 MTD gain is 29.27% as of 31 Aug.

Thinking of jumping into the S fund today to try to make a % or two. Obamas speech later this week, may continue to go up for a day or two more. Any thoughts?
 
Missed the deadline today, pissed me off, stupid Alaska time. I'll be playing the next dip.

I swear I remember it being by Noon Central time.

Well-timed complacency!
 
I know Sensei. I lost ~5% in stocks, not bad. I had all my stops in place.

100% S Fund today.
 
Time to get out. 100% move to G fund COB today. Up almost 6% for the week, could get even better by the end of the day. (Maybe +8%)

Very good results for September and 5 days at risk. This moves me to +20-25% since Jan 1 2011.

Congrats on both Sep and Annual gains !!!

Are you using the AutoTracker?
 
I used to, I missed an update about 1.5 months ago, and it isn't correctable. I may make a new one, but it wont be accurate for my yearly gain.
 
While I missed Octobers 20%+ opportunity due to a busy work schedule, I'm not worried. Having to leave my money at risk for an entire month would have been very risky.

Today I am 100% S fund, playing on this two day dip. Playing for 3-5%, and I'll be happy for November.
 
Hanging on to the S fund ride. This market has me very jittery, two up days and I want to get out. Hopefully it becomes three good days and I can escape tomorrow with +5%.
 
5th day 100% S fund, still waiting for something to happen. A big jump either up or down will push me back to G.
 
I'm out today, 100% G. Been in since 11/1, rode the drop down, and back up. Entrance at $19.96/share, exit at $20.53/share(maybe higher today). 3%ish gain. I'm glad we had this weeks bounce, I screwed up my strategy by staying in the markets for so long. Wont happen again.
