"Federal worker unions tell a House subcommittee that they're reluctant to endorse an option sought by a small, but some say overly-vocal minority of TSP participants."

Let them know how you feel about the mutual fund option and about adding a 3rd monthly interfund transfer.

As always, please be nice. :)

What does the mutual fund option have to do with the number of transfers? I have problems with mutual funds because depending on the type of investments in the fund, it might not be kosher for all federal workers to sign up (if it's a Finance oriented fund, for instance, Treasury workers might have conflicts of interest). But I'd like more than 2 transfers per month, or at least have it 24 transfers a year and I can do it my way.

Nothing, except the TSP may actaully be listening to this "small, but ...overly-vocal minority of TSP participants".

I'm not sure we were the ones pounding the table on the mutual fund option, although some of us seem to want it, but if they are listening and making changes to the TSP system anyway, let's see if we can't get another monthly transfer.
