To my friends and family here:
I have a special request tonight.
For the last decade, I have followed a young couple that have been doing Christian mission work in Romania. I went to Romania myself about a decade ago, and know the hardships endured by many people there. This couple that are missionaries lived there for the better part of seven years, and started several projects.
They are back in the states now, but they work several of these projects inside Romania now through putting together mission trips, as well as some people permanently on the ground there.
Two days ago, a group left to travel to Romania to break ground on building a school for Roma children. This particular area has struggled a lot.
Well, today they had some issues come up, and are struggling with an unexpected expenses as part of the project.
I can vouch for these folks- they are good people, and yes, this project is exactly what it says it is.
My ask is this- that you consider taking a moment to read the letter sent out today. If you feel so moved, please consider a small amount to help them out.
