The recession: Yeah it's official alright, but what amazes me the most is the amount of people out there using the announcement as a sell signal.
How much of this would have been avoided if Lehman wasn't allowed to fail? Love it or hate it, but that lone event may be the reason that things have slipped so far globally. Letting Lehman fail single handedly turned a panic into a market crash.
