Israel conducts airstrikes on Iran

Ah crap. Stock market isn’t going to like another round of Mideast war.

Futures are down about 1.5% right now (1:15 am). Gonna be a downer day, I’m afraid.

Well, here is to hoping there are no nuclear clouds tomorrow. ⛅

So, all jokes about being nonempathetic aside, is this the dip we’ve all been waiting for? I added another 10% to my S Fund.

I mean, nothing else was seeming to give a meaningful entry point.

Prayers for all involved.

Jerusalem Post reports U.S. Forces engaged Iranian missiles with the THAAD system. I am not sure but I think this is the first THAAD system engagement.

We’re now involved.

Another day of Israeli attacks around multiple parts of Iran. Tehran got hit extensively, but they also took out refineries in the north, and oil fields / gas fields farther south. Significant damage to Iran’s oil production capacity. Multiple nuclear related sites hit. This isn’t stopping.

Markets don’t yet reflect the oil price changes which will result worldwide. I’m thinking Monday is going to be a rough day for markets, and oil is going to climb big time.

I am reading Israeli news sources tonight and seeing reference to Prime Minister Netanyahu indicating they are now going into day three of a 20-day long extensive campaign to take down multiple areas of Iran defense and nuclear program facilities, including the energy sector and others.

If that is the case, and this turns into weeks or months—that’s going to have significant impact on all traffic in the region for some time, as well as risking expansion.

Ok- now I’m reading some REAL hairy opens source intel and Middle-East news.

Overnight I read where Iran threatened yesterday morning to demonstrate an underground explosion very soon - within the next 24 hours.

And then, yesterday afternoon local time, an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale hit 90 miles southeast of the Iranian border, out in the Gulf of Oman / Arabian Sea area.

Was that an Iranian atomic blast underwater?

I’m not seeing anything more in the news. But I don’t know if it was really a just an earthquake, or something else.

Serious stuff.

Futures are higher right now. It’s gonna be a nail biter, perhaps.
