Inorder for every young worthless Arab to become a Jihadist he must first receive his dear mothers' permission and blessing. If they didn't have a mother they wouldn't get permission to blow their a## up. Get where this is going....and if they didn't have a mother at all they wouldn't exist. Be careful not to blame the religion for mans failures in character or interpretation. Compare apples to apples. The Christian religion is good it is man that is always corrupt, greedy, lustful, jealous, ect.
Now compare Christianity to Islam. One tells you to spread the the word of God and to love everyone, even your enemy. The other tells you to spread the word of Muhammad by 1. Convert them and if you can not, 2. Enslave them or 3. Kill them.

When you see the streets full of protestors the big picture comes into focus! It's easy to read the headlines or hear the extremes (left and right). But what do the people say?

I'm not sure I get your point. My reference was more along the line of a holy war. Jihad! One religion against all others. Convert or die. The thing that strikes me first is that all of these counties you list, the government or the one's in power, controlled all of the media and had control of most of the weapons. The citizens were whipped up in a frenzy to blame another for their woes (mostly economic or political). Some knew what was going on and supported it (the herd), some knew and did nothing out of fear (self preservation), some were oblivious (the ignorant), and some in denial. I believe Germans were pissed because of the economy and WWI, the Japanese were pissed because of the economy and isolationism. We were squeezing them by not selling them oil. Korea and Vietnam communism. The rest I'm not sure.

That's what I was trying to say - that man is messed up and he interprets his religion in radical ways. I don't know if Islam actually says to convert or enslave/kill, but I know that is what the extremists are saying. I know for sure that a Christian is not supposed to kill nonconverts, but that is what extremists calling themselves Christians have done in the past. So an outsider would also call Christianity a strange religion that promotes violence against nonbelievers. Ever since Constantine declared Christianity the official religion of Rome, there have been many murders in the name of Jesus. It just doen't make sense.

With the global economy and war going on, the two cannot be separated. Anything the Iranian Shiites do will impact the markets universally. There unfortunately is only one solution because they are such li###. And the sooner we do the thing the better off the world will be to include all liberals.Last edited by a moderator:

One thing is for sure if you discuss politics or religion there will be passionate controversy. I'm going to try not to comment here anymore.
I believe I'd rather talk about politics than religion, always get in trouble. How about talking about the Market and MAKIN' MONEY?
