Is there a 'Santa Clause Rally' sighted?

Santa Claus rally lives
John Shmuel, Financial Post · Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010
U.S. stocks are on their hottest December streak in two decades.
Wednesday marked another day of steady gains for stock markets around the world with the S&P 500 index now on track to post its best December since 1991, a gauge of global stock markets hitting 27-month highs, and Canadian equities continuing to chug ahead.

Survey, shmurvey

aahh, you mean scurvey like the sailors used to get?

i usually just go with plenty of lime, it's a little bitter sure, but the cuervo helps smooth things out.

i gots me my own system, good for 9-1/2 percent this year, there's a lot that goes into it and it's kinda hard to 'splain, but it has a lot to do with feeling it, and taking shots. i'm gonna write the recipe down one of these days.

I agree... I think all the up is baked in. Looking forward to using the Sentiment Survey this year for the first time.

Gettin' back in the game!

Yep, I'm hookin' up with the SS this coming year too, I was waiting til it proved its value for the 2 IFTs/month situation. My independent-judgement decisions have been doing better with the individual stocks and etfs this year than with the indices. I'll keep playing higher-risk with them, less $ to lose on any one play, therefore more willing to risk.

I think we've just about had our Santa rally this year. Maybe lower shortly ahead. At least that's the indication out of the Sentiment Survey. :-)

Since most of the East is up to their eyeballs in snow and not able to get out and spend in the after Christmas sales yesterday or today (thanks to Global warming..record breaking Snow and LOW temps as far south as Miami)...the remainder of this week into the weekend should show huge sale figures as things thaw out, sustaining the Santa Claus rally.

:) 1st. Happy Holidays to all.
I am hoping that all is well with everyone. I only come here to gather knowledge on the markets that I am too busy, ie writing code, etc., to otherwise.
The 'Santa Clause Rally' is between 12/27-1/8 of any given year?
December was great this year and the 'Santa Clause Rally' has already passed?
Any all comments reguarding where we are/ or are headed?
Thanks DB :worried:
