Is the market and TSP open Monday? Thanks

I believe the market is still open but closes at 1 (EST) on Monday. Because Monday is a federal holiday TSP should be closed so any transaction made after noon today (EST) won't post till Wednesdays COB prices.

Holiday Closing — Some financial markets will be closed on Tuesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas Day holiday. The Thrift Savings Plan will also be closed. Transactions that would have been processed Tuesday night (December 25) will be processed Wednesday night (December 26), at Wednesday's closing share prices.
Daily Maintenance - There will be daily routine system maintenance and backups between 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., eastern time, which may cause slower than normal transaction response times.

The TSP has not mentioned being closed on Monday so I am assuming they are processing transactions.

The last time Christmas Eve was on a Monday was in 2012 and they did post prices, and I believe gov. employees had the day off. Not 100% certain.

We will see. I think FRTIB has already left for their long weekend. Maybe they gave the computer apps the day off too on Monday. I love getting good input about these short notice Fed holidays. No matter what happens with TSP being closed or open, they will post the share prices on 12/26 maybe.

I just called TSP and they said they will be open Monday regardless if the govt is 'shutdown' or not. I talked to 2 different service reps. Wanted to see if making an IFT before noon (Dec 24) was an option.
