Is Gmail Blocking Forum emails?

I have noticed an unusual number of new members, those who register for the forum, who do not click on the email confirmation. Most of those accounts tend to use Gmail. These are either spammers or serious members who don't receive the email.

We also have existing members who tell me they are not receiving the forum notifications to the threads they subscribe to - most again are Gmail accounts.

I don't know if this will help, but this is what I found on Gmail's help pages...

There may be more to it than that but it's something to try.

Thanks!

Maybe this'll help:

"As per the guidelines, you will need to have SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your domain name. At the moment, none of the records can be found for your domain."

In the Options section, select Bypass this setting for messages received from addresses or domains within these approved sender lists to set up a new approved sender list or to reuse a list that you've already created. An approved sender list lets you approve messages from specific addresses or domains. When you set up an approved sender list in the Blocked senders setting, messages from domains or email addresses in the list will bypass the Blocked senders setting. Note: Other settings can still cause the message to be blocked.
