The Financial Times has identified 50 Cent as Ruffer, a London investment fund with $20 billion under management, including some from the Church of England. Jonathan Ruffer, the head of the eponymously named fund, declined to confirm whether he is indeed 50 Cent or if his firm is behind the accumulation of call options on the VIX, the CBOE Volatility Index, which measures options on the Standard & Poor’s 500 index.
