In Alphabet Earnings, Focus on Google’s Ad Business
(GOOGL) (ticker GOOGL), the parent company of search engine behemoth Google, is expected to report strong fiscal fourth-quarter results after the market closes Monday. It is a case of more of the same, as Google continues to haul in digital advertising and makes inroads in cloud computing. “We remain constructive on Alphabet into earnings, as checks with advertisers and 3P [third-party] marketing partners were consistently healthy through the holiday period,” Baird analyst Colin Sebastian wrote in a note Monday.
