I am liking this pullback since I am out today and getting in a bit tomorrow morning.

Did anyone else make a move today? Is anyone out there today? :zz

Tom,

I too, am following your lead. I went 100% G and picked up the penny Wednesday. As of tomorrow I will be 100% F, short term, maybe 7 or 8 market days, also looking for the bounce. I have been watching FrizzB, I believe he too is in the F (I like his differential theory). If the S&P 500 can not stay above the 25 and 50 day moving average of 1127 approx. and 1133 approx. I believe we could see the S&P 500 test that 1120 mark again that you refer to, or even as I see it, 1108. However, the volume on the DJIA was below average today, giving no signal of a new direction. Could be a pause after increasingabove averagevolume 3 days in a row. Did I just make a case for the S&P 500 to test 1150?? I Your thoughts on hiding in the F fund while waiting on the Fed??:?

I'm not sure if this answers your question but I am very uncertain if we test March lows or make new highs. It's that questionable right now. I wanted a little exposure to stocks (the 35%) and rather than sit in the G I thought I'd take a chance on a bounce in the bond fund.

Yes, I moved to the F on Friday, differential was at 322 now at 319. Picked up some shares. Looking for the differential to get around 305, then I will move back to the S.

I am glad that to see there are some people starting to see what I am seeing. I like the gentleman using the percentage principle. Anything to help you see.

I went with the F, just because it has lost so much since the first of the month.

Tom, I am working on the years past. A little difficult the numbers are so off of each other. I am using 500 as my base. Then take the percentage of loss or gain for each day and multiply that by the day before starting with the 500 pt start. Haven't worked on it long enough to make it zing through. Will hope to figure it out in the next couple of days. Each does not go back far enough to figure out the 3 bad years. Once I get it figured out I will let you know.

FrizzB.

I sort of stayed where I was since I was already full in stocks. I'm 60 C, 35 C, 5 I...I guess I'm a bit daring, huh? :P

Keep an eye on 1150 on the S&P 500. Will we blast through or will it cause selling to kick in?

Bonds have been all over this morning. Up early, then down, now up again.

Smallcaps (S fund) lagging thebig caps(S&P) today.

History does have a way of repeating itself. I can't wait for the best opportunity to get back into my ag stocks again like I did in 2004.

Speaking of history. Here's an idea. Back during the Great Depression the US government paid 100 million dollars to farmers who plowed under their cotton. To solve the housing supply issue, have the US government buy all the foreclosed houses and just burn them to the ground. Housing problem solved!:D

Allah, please don't give them any ideas. I said I would not use the name of Jesus so instead I prefer to blaspheme the dad of Mohammed.

It just might work. Some would say that they are secretly doing these types of things by using top secret technology to send hurricanes and floods.

How about a earthquake in California?:D

Man are we bad today:)

Here is another idea.
Screw McCains wife and legalize Marijuana. The taxes on the pot and the money that the Gov will save by trying to prevent people from smoking POT , can pay for this bail out no problem.
My god lets get over it, this is a scam, Alcohol costs the taxpayers of this country 100s of billions of dollars yearly in medical costs alone, and no one gives it second thought. We are spending billion yearly preventing adult non drinkers from putting on a buzz every once in a while. It makes no sense.
