Hey all,
I was on travel last week part of that included a stop in Atlantic City, NJ.
I had heard that the intake end of the casinos was down due to the bad economy. My observation was 100% the opposite. In the 4 casinos we stopped in (walking down the boardwalk), the slot machines and game tables were as packed as I've ever seen them in every one. The crowds were not older blue haired folks either. More young than old except for maybe the Hilton which seemed to be catering to the older bunch. Even at 9:00am in the morning, my hotel was hopping busy.
So no indication of a troubled economy in Atlantic City this weekend. No science here, just my own observations.
