Hey everybody, I'm currently active duty and I've been contributing to my TSP for 9 years. I made the mistake of not contributing much in my early years. So now I'm playing catch up. I'm still young, late 20's, so I think I can still save my self. I'm excited to learn and take action towards my retirement and be successful.

It is never too late to take an interest in your TSP/retirement. I retired this year and TSP is what made that possible.

As motivation for you, consider this: the amount I contributed to my TSP when I was 29 (27 years ago) is worth 12.5 times that now. Compounding interest is great.
