Hi All!

lucky you, i am still in the S and didn't know if I should just ride this out now, or take the giant hit I already have and go g.

Welcome aboard.

You mentioned that you want to be out in another 12-14 years. You have time so my suggestion is to ride it out. Currently you have a devaluation of your funds, they are not worth as much per share now as they were two weeks ago. It may take some time but if you ride it out you wil get back to even or better. If you go to the G fund now it will be a loss. Just a suggestion. You have to do what is comfortable for you.

Another noob to the blender! After watching my sit and hold S fund just crash and burn over the last month, I have decided to be an active part of my 401k. I have been in since 85, and want to be out in 12-14 years so I need to stop just letting my paycheck drop in and waiting for magic.

welcome aboard. you will soon see that you were not the only one. read and learn. good luck.
