Thanks To All That Contribute To This Site.

It means the TSPer started after the 1st of the year, e.g. the 2nd week in Jan. In other words, the red YTD returns don't represent an entire year.

i'm so confused, whether to stay 50/50 s/i or hit the lilly pad. the info. on the mb is great, but leaves me to make a decision. good points on both ends. with that i will stay and try and recoupe !!!

thanks all

One of the best things I have learned on this board is to develop a system and stick with it. The system can be a spreadsheet, web page or just following some of the excellent people here or elsewhere. You will still make wrong moves from time to time but it helps to have a system to follow when things get confusing, like today. :)

i do follow some of the members on the site, which is very helpful. those of us in the race are getting our a$$ kicked but good today.

My system has me in the S & I today and tomorrow. OUCH!! but I am sure it will direct me into the F and G for Thursday. That is the difference from last May when I just rode it down, not knowing whether to get out or not. That is the main reason I went looking for a site like this, to figure out how to avoid riding down with the market. I might have a few down days but I think it would be better to get out when in a long downturn. Now if I could figure out when to get back in near the bottom.

your system tells u to bail on thusrday, but in the meantime you and i may lose another day in those funds before we move out correct ???

maybe the stock gods will be nice to me on my birthday and grant me my wish, and maybe NOT !!!!!! good luck all

Please add commas (or ; or /) to separate the fund percentage allocations when you make an entry in your account. Its hard to read and mistakes can be made. I see a percentage and adjacent to the right is a fund. Its easy to associate the two but this would be in error. Your cooperation would be appreciated.
