Government Spending!

Extending "benefits" continuously insulates people from the decision on whether take a lesser paying job, and further adjust lifestyle, or move, even if taking a hit on the home equity. Just like the future of our medical care, there has to be a time when someone says "no" and people have to rely on themselves or a local charity, where at least genuine need is examined and evaluated. "Unemployment benefits" like other government provided "benefits" like AFDC, SNAP, WIC, TANF, medicaid, have become income sources that can on one hand prevent the normally self sufficient from making decisions and on the other hand simply feed the lazy and selfish./rant
But they will feel better and can wait for the goverment to get off their trillions and make jobs for them.
