We may have to run for cover soon, with our "Gas masks" in hand.

You may have already heard- gas prices are poised to rise 20-30 cents a gallon over the next week.

Keep a close eye on those oil prices... because we could quickly lose today's gains.

NEW DELHI - OPEC oil producers do not need to increase production when they meet later this month as the factors pushing oil prices to near-record highs are not related to the cartel, Venezuela President Hugo Chavez said on Friday.

Gallon of gas will be shooting for $2.50 around spring.

The reason for the notraisingof the output, you ask:

(1) They have the tap open to full blast.

(2) They are running out and want to get all they can now.

(3) We, The Borg, can pay $80 a barrel and not even flinch.

So if you actually have a budget plan on higher gas at the pump and home heating and cooling moving forward.

Oh yeah, energy is not computed into the inflation index - so the ecomony is in great shape . You should not be concerned.
