Fed’s Evans says no more rate cuts are needed through 2020

KEY POINTS

Chicago Fed President Charles Evans says he agrees with the two rate cuts this year but thinks that is enough.

He considers the economy and policy both in “a good place” now.

Markets heavily expect another reduction in October, but the Fed in September said no more cuts were likely this year.
